Developing Citizens of Character

Our program is home to motivated cadets who are committed to improving their personal character, leadership, community involvement, knowledge in Aerospace Science, and dedication to our nation.

Welcome to the official website of the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFJROTC) unit at Georgia 052. Our program is open to all high school students in grades 9 through 12. It is structured to provide cadets with a comprehensive learning experience:

  • First Year: Cadets are introduced to the program and its fundamentals.

  • Second Year: Cadets assist in teaching the program to new members.

  • Third and Fourth Years: Cadets take on leadership roles, managing and leading the program.

Our curriculum encompasses Aerospace Studies, including Aviation History, The Science of Flight, Space Exploration, and Cultural Studies, as well as Leadership Studies, which are designed to equip students with the skills necessary for a successful life post-high school.

The program emphasizes team building, decision making, and leadership development, enabling cadets to gain confidence, experience, and personal growth.

AFJROTC is not associated with any military recruiting program and does not include physical fitness minimum standards.

Thank you for visiting! We look forward to hearing from you and engaging with you in our community.
