AFJROTC instructors are retired Air Force commissioned and senior noncommissioned officers (SNCOs).  The Senior Aerospace Science Instructor (SASI) is a commissioned officer who works alongside the SNCO Aerospace Science Instructor (ASI) to provide lessons in the areas of Aerospace Science as well as Leadership Education.  Together they manage and administer the AFJROTC program as prescribed by the U.S. Air Force.  This includes curriculum design and execution; the management of all programs, extracurricular activities and logistics; and all community service and field trips performed/taken by the cadets in the corps.  Both the SASI and the ASI are certified for their positions by the Air Force and are members of the school faculty.
